View By View provided the BIM model for Architectural and Structural. Worked with Clark Construction, the GC providing ongoing, development and maintenance of the architectural and structural building model for coordination with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, framing and other trade models. The primary purpose of the work was to coordinate the building and trade models to resolve and prevent conflicts in the field and to help ensure the smooth flow of construction and minimize rework. This has included detailed remodeling of the structure according to the steel shop drawings, detailing of the ceiling support framing for mechanical coordination, modeling and coordination of kingstuds and header details in the partition walls, and detailed modeling and updating of exterior bracing and equipment supports. This process also included the ongoing reviews, coordination and updating of the building model from shop drawings, ASI’s, CO’s, and RFI’s as well as incorporating field measurement of as-built conditions over the course of construction. The BIM was also used to develop and resolve RFI’s with changes noted and tracked by date and RFI number within the model
