Figure 15.  Photo of the assembled Chillers and the Building information model of the chillers on the right. The 3D shop drawing was used for pipe fabrication.  The large steam pipes were bend from the 3D BIM model and welded in the shop than assembled in the Chiller room.

Figure 16.  The image on the right illustrates about 75% of the MEP objects to be place into the Building B.  The image on the right illustrates the partial curtain wall  enclosure and slabs.

The design for this building B calls for a 2 foot raised floor system, a very new way of creating a plenum sub floor.  All the ducts, electrical, network cables were placed on the concrete floor.
