The BIM Process

College of San Mateo Science Building project was modeled in 3D to facilitate coordination and clash detection between design disciplines. View By View provided 3D architectural model and design coordination of Architectural, Structural and MEP for the Architects and provided BIM MEP coordination assistance to the General Contractor.  The MEP subs were still using  2D drawings.  View By View provided clash free fully coordinated MEP 3D shop drawings modeled in CadDuct and CadMech to the MEP subs.  We helped the MEP subs to transition to 3D BIM.

External walls were not needed for MEP coordination process.
